The Beam Awards provides users with access to a variety of resources, including event information, ticket sales, application processes for awards, and merchandise sales (collectively “Services”). The Services, including any updates, enhancements, new features, and/or the addition of any new web properties, are subject to the T&C.

By using our Services, you represent that you are of sufficient legal age to use this site and to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of the use of this site.

9.  Photography and Image Consent

By purchasing tickets or packages for the Beam Awards 2024, attendees grant Beam Awards and its affiliates permission to capture and use their image in photographs and/or video recordings. These images and recordings may be used for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to promotional material, marketing campaigns, and digital content across our websites and social media platforms.

Attendees acknowledge that their image may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed, and waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein their likeness appears. Additionally, attendees waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the image or recording.

Photographs and video recordings are the property of the Beam Awards and its affiliates. By attending the event, attendees release and hold harmless the Beam Awards from any claims, demands, and causes of action which they, their heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on their behalf or on behalf of their estate have or may have by reason of this authorisation.

If attendees do not wish to be photographed or recorded, they are responsible for informing the Beam Awards team upon arrival at the event. The Beam Awards will make reasonable efforts to respect the privacy of individuals who explicitly express their desire not to be photographed or recorded.

Please be aware that the Beam Awards 2024 is a public event, and we cannot guarantee that attendees will not appear in background shots or incidental coverage.

By purchasing a ticket or package, attendees acknowledge that they have fully understood and agree to the above terms and conditions regarding photography and image consent.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The Beam Awards does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage, however caused (including through negligence), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with your use of this website or any linked website, nor does it accept any responsibility for any such loss arising out of your use of or reliance on information contained on or accessed through this website.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
