The “Women Supporting Women Award” at the Beam Awards is designed to recognise and honour women in Australia who dedicate themselves to supporting and uplifting other women. This award is for those who go above and beyond to empower, mentor, and advocate for women, whether in their professional or personal lives. It’s open to women from all walks of life who have created networks, initiatives, or programs that significantly contribute to the growth and success of other women.

There will be one gold winner and one silver winner for this category.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Women who have initiated or significantly contributed to projects, networks, or support systems aimed at empowering other women.
• Exhibits a strong commitment to female empowerment, mentorship, and advocacy.
• Has made a tangible impact on the lives and careers of other women through support, guidance, and inspiration.
• Acts as a role model, showcasing the importance of solidarity and support among women.

Eligibility Criteria for Women Supporting Women Category:

• Open to women based in Australia who have demonstrated a significant commitment to supporting other women.
• Can be from any professional background or community sector.
• Employed or operating a business for a minimum of 12 months
• Business located in Australia.

Compulsory Requirements for all applications for Beam Awards 2024

• Australia Resident
• Business must have an Australia Business Address
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be in business for a minimum of 12 months (unless applying for Business Professional of the Year or Femme in the Field)

Must be able to attend the Beam Awards Gala on the 1st June 2024. If you think you maybe away or overseas or have a significant event on this date, please do not apply. We hope to have all the finalists in the room on the Gala Night. Presenting an award to the recipient makes for a more enjoyable experience for you and the guests in the room that come to see you win.
