The “Man of the Year” award at the Beam Awards celebrates the outstanding achievements of male leaders in the Australian business community. This award recognises men who have not only excelled in their business endeavours but have also made significant contributions to community development, innovation, and leadership, setting a positive example in their professional and community engagements.

There will be one gold winner and one silver winner for this category.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A male business leader or entrepreneur who has demonstrated exceptional performance and growth in his business.
• Someone who has significantly contributed to community initiatives or projects, leaving a tangible positive impact.
• A figure who exemplifies strong leadership qualities and has played a role in mentoring, guiding, or supporting others in the business realm.
• An innovator who has successfully implemented new ideas or strategies in business, benefiting his sector or community.
• A role model who shows how effective leadership and community involvement can drive progress and success.

Eligibility Criteria for Man of the Year Category:

• Trading for a minimum of 12 months
• Business located in Australia.

Compulsory Requirements for all applications for Beam Awards 2024

• Australia Resident
• Business must have an Australia Business Address
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be in business for a minimum of 12 months (unless applying for Business Professional of the Year or Femme in the Field)

Must be able to attend the Beam Awards Gala on the 1st June 2024. If you think you maybe away or overseas or have a significant event on this date, please do not apply. We hope to have all the finalists in the room on the Gala Night. Presenting an award to the recipient makes for a more enjoyable experience for you and the guests in the room that come to see you win.
