Whether you’re an artist, an allied health practitioner, an online retailer, or running a service or product-based business, this award is for you. It’s not just about financial success; we want to hear about your growth, the challenges you’ve overcome, and your plans for the future.

There will be one gold winner and one silver winner for this category.

Participating in the “Emerging Business of the Year” category at the Beam Awards provides an opportunity to showcase your business journey, celebrate your achievements, and benchmark against other emerging businesses. It’s a chance to gain recognition for your hard work and innovation and to highlight the potential of your business for future success.

Eligibility Criteria for Emerging Business of the Year Category:

• Trading for a minimum of 12 months but less than 3 years.
• Team size of up to 5 employees.
• Annual turnover less than $500k.
• Business located in Australia.

Compulsory Requirements for all applications for Beam Awards 2024

• Australia Resident
• Business must have an Australia Business Address
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be in business for a minimum of 12 months (unless applying for Business Professional of the Year or Femme in the Field)

Must be able to attend the Beam Awards Gala on the 1st June 2024. If you think you maybe away or overseas or have a significant event on this date, please do not apply. We hope to have all the finalists in the room on the Gala Night. Presenting an award to the recipient makes for a more enjoyable experience for you and the guests in the room that come to see you win.
