The “Creative of the Year” award at the Beam Awards is dedicated to recognising and celebrating the most outstanding talents in the creative industries. This category is open to individuals and businesses involved in arts and creativity, including but not limited to product designers, handmade crafters, singers, painters, photographers, filmmakers, writers, book publishers, and social media and website designers. This award honours those who have demonstrated exceptional creativity, innovation, and impact in their respective fields.

There will be one gold winner and one silver winner for this category.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• An individual or business actively engaged in a creative industry.
• Demonstrates a high level of creativity and originality in their work.
• Has made a significant impact in their field through innovative projects or products.
• Exhibits commitment to the growth and development of the creative industry.
• Inspires others with their work and has potentially garnered recognition for their creative contributions.

Eligibility Criteria for Creative of the Year Category:

• Trading for a minimum of 12 months
• Business located in Australia.

Compulsory Requirements for all applications for Beam Awards 2024

• Australia Resident
• Business must have an Australia Business Address
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be in business for a minimum of 12 months (unless applying for Business Professional of the Year or Femme in the Field)

Must be able to attend the Beam Awards Gala on the 1st June 2024. If you think you maybe away or overseas or have a significant event on this date, please do not apply. We hope to have all the finalists in the room on the Gala Night. Presenting an award to the recipient makes for a more enjoyable experience for you and the guests in the room that come to see you win.
