The “Community Leader of the Year” award at the Beam Awards celebrates individuals who have made a significant impact in their community through their professional role, business activities, or volunteer efforts. This award recognises those dedicated to making a difference, whether through direct community involvement, organising events, or leading initiatives that benefit the community at large.

There will be one gold winner and one silver winner for this category.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in community initiatives or events, either through their employment, business, or as volunteers.
• Those who have initiated, led, or significantly contributed to projects or programs that have positively impacted the community.
• Leaders who have shown innovation, dedication, and effectiveness in their community involvement.
• Individuals who have fostered collaboration, inclusivity, and a sense of community spirit.

Eligibility Criteria for Community Leader of the Year Category:

• Open to anyone who has significantly contributed to their community, whether through their job, business activities, or voluntary service.
• Individual should live in Australia.

Compulsory Requirements for all applications for Beam Awards 2024

• Australia Resident
• Business must have an Australia Business Address
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must be in business for a minimum of 12 months (unless applying for Business Professional of the Year or Femme in the Field)

Must be able to attend the Beam Awards Gala on the 1st June 2024. If you think you maybe away or overseas or have a significant event on this date, please do not apply. We hope to have all the finalists in the room on the Gala Night. Presenting an award to the recipient makes for a more enjoyable experience for you and the guests in the room that come to see you win.
