The Self-Worth Movement is a social enterprise committed to raising awareness of the value of self-worth. Our mission is to transform the hearts of women and girls around the world to know who they are, what they stand for, and what they want to say. As a concept, The Self-Worth Movement arose from a poem, She Shines. Our Founder wrote She Shines as both a love letter and call to arms. Farah had the vision to turn this poem into a film, knowing deep in her heart that it would change lives, creating a ripple effect of self-love.  She Shines the poem evolved into The Self-Worth Movement…and now the film, with its accompanying social impact campaign is currently in development. As an Integrative Health Practitioner & former nurse, I work with women in their 40’s and 50’s to help restore optimal health and vitality as they approach menopause. My goal is to educate & support as many women as I can to help them understand that their weight gain, anxiety, brain fog and other identified symptoms are not necessarily linked to a decrease in hormones but are an accumulation of lifestyle factors over time. No woman needs to be constantly shuffled from doctor to doctor, put on a cocktail of medications that bring little relief and can exacerbate symptoms, only to be told there is nothing left they can do; it’s just something you have to live with. My extensive knowledge & experience over the past 30 years enables me to plan individualised lifestyle plans for each woman recognising perimenopause and menopause are multifaceted conditions & simply changing diet does not go deep enough.

Oh my goodness – buckle up – Compass House has experienced a whirlwind of progress since becoming a registered provider of Psychosocial Disability Support in March 2020. With a team of 23 confident and naturally empathetic individuals, many with personal experiences in mental health, they are the driving force behind Compass House’s success. In October 2023, we expanded into the adjacent building with Compass Hub, relocating our teaching kitchen, wellness, and art space. This move allowed us to create the awesome Compass Arcade. While embracing growth, we remain focused on delivering personalised and consistent services. Our mission is to excel in Psychosocial Disability support and stay true to our core values. I am grateful to contribute to the creation of this welcoming, non-judgmental, and inspiring environment where our team feels empowered to reach for the stars, and where those we support are motivated to embark on their mental health journey.
